Graduated with distinction from his studies at the Vocal and Acting Department of the Music Academy in Gdańsk, in the class of prof. Piotr Kusiewicz. He is also a graduate of the Musical Education Department at the Frederic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw. He has taken part in many master courses with artists such as Paul Eswood, Kai Wessel and members of The King’s Singers vocal ensemble. He collaborates with the Warsaw Chamber Opera, National Opera Brno, as well as Polish and foreign philharmonics, chamber orchestras and ensembles specializing in the performance of early music e.g. Concerto Polacco, Concerto Koeln, Capella Cracoviensis, Vox Luminis, Fretwork, Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, Musica Aeterna, OH Orkiestra Historyczna, Czech Ensemble Baroque, Solamente Naturali, Ensemble Polyharmonique. He performs with conductors and musicians such as Andrew Parrott, Paul McCreesh, Marek Toporowski, Skip Sempe, Jan Tomasz Adamus, Konrad Junghanel, Jarosław Thiel, Fabio Bonizzoni, Andreas Spering, Paul Goodwin, Massimiliano Caldi, hosting at many important music festivals in almost all Europe. He also appreciates the cooperation with Collegium Vocale Gent and Philippe Herreweghe. Piotr Olech sings with pleasure baroque music, but he often choose classical, early romantic and contemporary music. He has recorded more than 50 CD’s and 6 of them have received a Fryderyk award – Polish Phonographics Academy. He is a professor in the Music Institute of the Maria Curie–Skłodowska University in Lublin. He also works in Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Piotr Olech is invited to give lectures and baroque music masterclasses.
