MIXED CHOIR OF CHORAL CONDUCTING, CHURCH MUSIC, ARTS EDUCATION, EURHYTHMICS AND JAZZ FACULTY

was founded in 2016. In May 2016 it obtained the Golden Diploma in 12th International Choir Festival Mundus Cantat in Sopot and in April 2017 two Golden Diplomas in the International Choir Festival Slovakia Cantat in Bratislava. In December 2016 it took part as a workshop choir in the 2nd Polish-American Choral Workshops run by prof. Paul Crabb (USA). In December 2017 the choir took part in 2nd International Choir Festival of Music Academies in Katowice. In Februar 2018 the group took part in the International Choir Festival on the island Jeju in South Korea. In May 2018 it got involved in the performance and the recording of the opera The Haunted Manor by Stanislaw Moniuszko to commemorate the 70th anniversary of founding Academy of Music. The recording was nominated for the Fryderyk Award 2019. In May 2019 it obtained the Grand Prix, Golden Diploma and Special Prize in 15th International Choir Festival Mundus Cantat in Sopot. In October 2021 the choir got involved in the recording of the Carol Songs CD. In 5th Interantional Choir Competition „Cantu Gaudeamus” in December 2021 in Białystok, the choir obtained the Golden Diploma.
