Born in 1980 in Poznań. He graduated from the M. Karłowicz State Secondary School in Poznań in the cello class of Piotr Czajka, studied at the I.J. Paderewski Music Academy in Poznań under the supervision of prof. Stanisław Pokorski, and finished postgraduate studies in playing the baroque cello at the K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław under the supervision of dr hab. Jarosław Thiel.
He plays concerts in Poland and abroad, focusing his activities on historical performance practices. He collaborates with all the most important Polish early music ensembles (including Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, Orkiestra Historyczna, Capella Cracoviensis, Arte dei Suonatori, Accademia dell’Arcadia, Consortium Sedinum, Goldberg Ensemble). He constantly improves his skills, especially in the field of running a continuo group.
He performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. He is a co-founder and cellist of the string quartet The Violin Consort. He teaches the Baroque cello at the Academic Baroque Orchestra at the K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. He plays instruments built in 2004 and 2008 by Krzysztof Krupa.
