Michał Grabczuk

Michał graduated with honours from the Vocal and Acting Departament of the S. Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. He specialisated in musicals and solo singing and was in class headed by prof. Piotr Kusiewicz. He also took part in courses run by prof. Marek Rzepka, Marcel Boone, Jadwiga Rappé, Helena Łazarska, Paul Esswood, Marcin Habela. While still a student, he was invited to work with Cappella Gedanensis. In 2015 he took part in the production of Guy-François Leuenberger’s contemporary opera Le ruisseau Noir at the Théâtre du Grütli in Geneva. He has been a member of the International Choral Academy Lübeck choir since 2015, with whom he still travels extensively. In October 2017, he performed the role of Monostatos in the Mozart’s Magic Flute at the Music Theatre in Lublin. Next year, in 2018, in the same theatre he took part in the concert of spanish arias from Zarzuelas. He also performed the role of John Styx in the Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld at the Baltic Opera. He has a special passion for baroque music.
